CNN sheds tears for itself; Forgets Steve Scalise

CNN reporters and anchors and staffers are playing the victim big time.

Today, foreign correspondent Clarissa Ward claimed that Trump’s attacks on the media, specifically CNN after it got caught propagating a fake news story about a Trump ally and a Russian Bank, are leading to a dangerous situation for reporters in war zones.

“I can tell you working overseas in war zones,” said Ward, “people are emboldened by the actions of this administration, emboldened by the all-out declaration of war on the media.”

Yes all-out declarations of war against the other side are dangerous.

But evidently memories are short over there. Wasn’t it only a week or so ago a deranged leftist attempted a mass killing of Republican members of Congress, and grievously wounded Representative Steve Scalise? And isn’t Scalise still hospitalized facing even more surgeries.

And isn’t it the unrelenting campaign against Trump and his supporters and Republican members of Congress by CNN, and the New York Times and the Washington Post and that whole crowd of ridiculous snowflakes in the press room that led to the deranged leftist opening fire?

Please. Do. Not. Start. With the “he must have been mentally ill” mantra.

He was incited to violence in precisely the same manner that CNN is claiming bloodthirsty nut jobs on foreign battlefields are incited to attack reporters.

But while the CNN poured concern out for reporters who are in danger in the first place because they go to war zones, it somehow slipped their collective minds that, yes, there are people out there who are driven to violence by media fulminating, but so far it’s Republicans who have been in the cross hairs.

Perhaps they should pay a little closer attention to Scalise’s condition in the hospital. It isn’t a news story that should be forgotten or overlooked.

I am so very sorry that you were leaving fox mainly for foxes sake. I will follow you at the new website not sure how to get the podcast of it however. Is Christine going to leave Fox and join you? Try to convince her and her baby and her grade husband engineer of yours to move to Dallas Fort Worth and enjoy life. Jerseys are from my place to grow up. It’s a good place to leave from and visit from time to time. I was a Podcasts subscriber for five years since 2013

  2. Hate to see the show end. Religious podcast listener for 10 years (never a caller since I’m always a day behind). Looking forward to following your new endeavors. Ps if you can bring back the old pre trump stirewalt keep him on the guest list but if he keeps up his anti trump beltway insider undertones good riddance! Best wishes!

As for the persecution of the media and war zone dangers…. to quote the BLM nut job on Hannity…. boo-hoo-hoo.

  3. I’m old enough to remember when the news was just the news and little else. I know the difference between hard news and opinion news programs but with the current state of affairs in the media being so completely out of control, I can’t imagine it ending well. You have the news for conservatives and the news for liberals. Where does the truth lie? The media’s zeal for higher profits or just plain survival have created a culture of pandering to their constituent audience. The target audience hears what they want to hear and all is well. None of this bodes well for the future of our Republic.
